The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is used to help determine proper placement of students in freshman courses.
All incoming freshmen are required to take the Placement Test.
The HSPT has six multiple choice sections that break down as follows:

Verbal Skills 60 questions 16 minute

Quantitative Skills 52 questions 30 minutes

Reading 62 questions 25 minutes

Mathematics 64 questions 45 minutes

Language 60 questions 25 minutes
